The Overtime Select Championship game is now set with the Cold Hearts and YGE each winning their semi-finals matchups on Friday night. It was YGE who took the first game, pulling off the upset of the season with a near wire-to-wire victory over the presumptive favorites ISO WRLD. In the second semis of the evening the Cold Hearts took care of business, whooping up on the Venom Tears to advance to their first ever championship game 🏆

YGE pulled off what is quite possibly the biggest upset in OT Select history with their 11 point victory over ISO WRLD. The story of the night was the battle between captains GG Banks and Kaleena Smith but it was GG Banks who had the upper hand all night long and firmly cemented herself at the front of the MVP race. Banks scored a season-high 27 points while almost posting the second triple-double of her career, rounding out the evening with ten rebounds and nine assists. Banks and YGE are now headed to their first ever appearance in the OT Select Championship game 🤯

Banks wasn’t alone in her heroic efforts as Loriel “Lolo” Murray had the best game of her career, notching 14 points and nine rebounds but most importantly muting ISO WRLD’s star big Nation Williams’ impact on the game. Khloe Ison did a little bit of everything for YGE, logging a line of seven points, three rebounds and four steals 💪

Kaleena Smith’s illustrious career may have come to an end on Friday night but she put up another performance befitting of the OT Select GOAT. Smith’s final performance resulted in a double-double of 20 points and 12 assists with her 12 assists tied for the second most in a game in OT Select history. Nation Williams had another big night, scoring 17 points and pulling down eight boards 🐐

The Cold Hearts looked like the most dominant team of the final four for the first half of their game against the Venom Tears, building up an 18 point lead, but the second half was a different story. The Venom Tears cut the lead to just one in the fourth quarter but the Cold Hearts persevered, putting the game away in the closing minute. Jordyn Palmer showed why she is very much in the Overtime Select MVP hunt with a gaudy state line of 23 points, eight rebounds and two steals and blocks apiece 🥶

Morghan Reckley exhibited her scoring chops with 21 points of her own while still dishing out the ball efficiently with seven assists to just three turnovers. Jemini Mitchell had her best game of the season, scoring 15 points and hitting three very timely three-pointers in the fourth quarter to keep the game out of reach for the Venom Tears 🎯

After three years at OT Select, Micah Ojo put on an all-time performance in what ended up being her final game in the league. Ojo put up the first ever 20-20 game in league history with an absolutely bonkers stat line of 23 points and 21 rebounds, with her 21 boards now standing as the league record for the most ever in a game. Madi Mignery was also huge in the Venom Tears comeback attempt, scoring 13 points while pulling down seven boards 🐍
