ISO WRLD Cruises Into Champ Weekend

ISO WRLD is back and scarier than ever, posting a 2-0 weekend in which they won by an average margin of 26.0 PPG. Captain and number one ranked player in the class of 2027, Kaleena Smith put on a show all weekend, demonstrating why she is the top ranked high schooler in the country. In Friday’s win in particular she posted an all-around absurd stat line of 25 points, 11 assists, four rebounds and four steals 🌎

ISO WRLD’s other star this weekend was Nation Williams who is already well established as the greatest rebounder in league history, but this weekend it was her scoring punch that stood out. In ISO WRLD’s win over the Venom Tears on Saturday, Williams logged a team-high 23 points while matching her Friday night total of 18 rebounds 😤

The second team to clinch a spot in the semi-finals were the Venom Tears who won in a thriller over the Drifty Dreamerz in the Bubble Breaker. Trailing 14-12 in a game to 15, Venom Tears captain Micah Ojo pulled up from deep to splash in the game winner and send the Venom Tears to their first Championship Weekend in franchise history 🥲

Ojo was unbelievable all weekend long, most notably setting the league record in blocks with seven in their win on Friday night. Prior to their win on Friday night over the Dreamerz, the Venom Tears had never won a game in their franchises history and it was Madi Mignery who led the way for them with a team-high 13 points 🐍 

After dropping their opening night game to the Venom Tears, the Drifty Dreamerz rebounded well, securing a narrow victory over the reigning champ All Knighters to make it to the Bubble Breaker. Captain Eve Long showed out throughout the weekend, posting averages of 20.0 PPG and 12.5 RPG 😴

After winning the championship last season, the All Knighters came up short during weekend two going 0-2 and getting eliminated before the Bubble Breaker. Chance Berry was the All Knighters most consistent performer posting averages of 16.0 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 2.0 APG. Captain Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka showed out in the last game posting a gaudy stat line of 18 points, seven rebounds, five steals and two blocks ⚔️
