OT Select Dream Tryout Preview

The second annual OT Select Dream Tryout is set to take place on Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28 with 15 girls trying out for a spot in the third OT Select season. The talent at OT Select just keeps on getting better and better and it shows with the amazing talent participating in this year’s Dream Tryout. The complete list of tryout participants can be found below 🔥

There are three players trying out who are ranked in the top 60 in the class of 2027, showcasing just how unbelievable the talent at this year's tryout will be. Ginny Anne Dumont is ranked 40th and is already committed to play at UCLA, the reigning champs. A’zyua Blair and NyAir McCoy are ranked 56th and 58th in the class of 2027, respectively 💯

Overtime Select is bringing in some local talent to partake in this tryout as well. Kenzie Hinkson is a 5-6 guard in the class of 2028 from Acworth, GA who just led her high school to the Georgia State Championship. Cailyn Landrew is a 5-11 forward in the class of 2028 who comes from a family of successful athletes as her older brother was just named the Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year 🏆

Three bigs with a combination of size and talent are also entering the playing field this year. The biggest of them is 6-9 (!!!) Athiei Dhal who is a class of 2029 player and already has an offer from Ohio State. Standing just a few inches shorter is Jayden McClain, who comes in at 6-6, and has already been invited to two USA Minicamps. The last of the bigs is Emily Forrester who is 6-4 and didn’t even begin playing basketball until eighth grade 🌲

The player who is traveling the farthest for this event is Aisha Van Stein who is coming all the way from the Netherlands and has experience on the Netherlands National team. Nayvi Robinson will be traveling from Washington and she is the daughter of NBA veteran Nate Robinson. The last long traveler is Love Lei Best who comes in from Oregon who is coming off of year where she was named the Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year 🌎

There are two more youngsters in the class of 2028 who are trying out in Taylor Stanfield and Izzy Cherne who are trying out. Stanfield already holds offers from some major Power 4 schools including Iowa State, Kentucky and Virginia Tech. Cherne is a viral sensation from Missouri who is looking to prove herself on the biggest stage in high school basketball 💪

The last two players participating in the tryout are Jaliyah Diggs and Heaven Bailey. Diggs has an Overtime Select as she attends Paige Bueckers’ high school alma mater. Bailey is a 5-6 guard from Alabama who is driven to put Alabama on the map as a destination for high school women’s basketball 😤
