The 2026 Most Underrated OT Select Player

This week Overtime Select will be rolling out the awards for the 2026 OT Select season. We continue today with the Most Underrated award which honors the player who was under the radar coming into the season but ended up making the biggest impact for her team. So many unheralded players came into the season and made a major impact on their teams but it was Madi Mignery of the Venom Tears who stood out amongst the rest and took home the honor this year 🤫

Madi Mignery played a massive role in getting the Venom Tears to their first ever Championship Weekend, doing a little bit of everything for the team. Mignery was second on the team in scoring with 11.0 PPG but that doesn’t capture the full scope of her impact. When the Venom Tears were hurting for a basket it was always Mignery who would find a way to put points on the board with her impressive isolation scoring ability 🐍

On top of her scoring prowess, Mignery also finished second on the team in rebounds (5.0 RPG) and third in assists (2.3 APG) as one of the most complete players on the team. Mignery will be remembered for her fearless play in helping the Venom Tears to their best season in program history 💪

Finishing as the runner-up for the Most Underrated Player award was the Cold Hearts Kristen Winston who has already established herself as a future face of the league despite just being in the class of 2029. Coming in third in voting was the Drifty Dreamerz’ Love Lei Best who was one of the league’s premiere three point shooters (44.4%) while also serving as the team’s lead playmaker (4.0 APG) 🔥
