The Best Overtime Select Duo

This week Overtime Select will be rolling out the awards for the 2026 OT Select season. We continue today with the inaugural Best Duo award which honors the pair of teammates who best elevated the play of their team throughout the season. There were so many amazing duos to pick from but after the closest vote this season the duo of Jordyn Palmer and Morghan Reckley from the Cold Hearts were selected for the honor 👭

Jordyn Palmer and Morghan Reckley were the most consistent duo all season leading the Cold Hearts to their first ever championship while doing the bulk of the work for the team. Palmer and Reckley both finished out the season in the top three in points per game making them the second pair of teammates ever to do that, joining the All Knighters Jazzy Davidson and Sienna Betts 🔥

Palmer, who has now been named Finals MVP and to the All-OT Select Team, was sensational this season as the only player in the league to finish in the top five in points, rebounds, blocks and steals. On top of her season wide success, Palmer also had the moment of the season when she knocked in the final shot of the Finals to ice the game against YGE and give the Cold Hearts their first ever championship 🤯

Reckley, who has now been named to All-OT Select Teams in back-to-back seasons on top of taking home Best Duo, was one of the most dynamic scorers in the league, logging 20.5 PPG. On top of that Reckley was the Cold Hearts primary playmaker, dishing out 5.0 APG which was tied for the third best mark in the league this year 🥶

Finishing as the runner-up for Best Duo of the year were GG Banks and Khloe Ison who propelled YGE to the championship game and if Ison had been able to suit up for that game may have ultimately won the championship. Coming in third for Best Duo was the unit of Kaleena Smith and Nation Williams who coming into Championship weekend were the most feared duo in the league thanks to their play on ISO WRLD so far this season 🤩
