YGE Roster Breakdown

A young upstart YGE team made a surprise run to the semi-finals in OT Select’s inaugural season and coming into the 2025 season, they are hungry for so much more. YGE returns three players from their run last year and adds some talented newbies that look to propel the team to the promised land 🦌

Superstar GG Banks is one of just three captains returning from the first season of OT Select and she has leveled up her game. As just a sophomore, Banks has taken home two Gatorade Player of the Year awards in the state of Delaware and is prepped and ready for this season. Banks was one of the most electric players in the entire league her first year. Playing against ISO WRLD in the semi-finals, Banks scored 31 points which is tied for the most in a game in OT Select history. Banks is more than just a scorer though, as she possesses three of the top six games with the most assists in OT Select history including a ten assist performance in her first ever Select game 🤑

Also returning to YGE are Stella Lockhart and Kamrah Banks, two standouts from the class of 2026. Lockhart balled out in her first season with YGE, averaging 10.7 PPG and 7.7 RPG as she served as a true swiss army knife, filling whatever role the team needed on a game by game basis. Kamrah is a guard who excelled for YGE but her most notable achievement came earlier this year when she scored 63 points in a game 🎯

YGE is bringing in two other OT Select vets to complement their returning players: Micah Ojo (7th, 2027) and Taylor Brown (34th, 2027). Ojo, who is joining from RWE, had a stellar first season where she averaged 17.0 PPG but more spectacularly she had a game with 11 offensive rebounds, which is the most by any player in OT Select history. Ojo also is one of six players at OT Select this season to be named to the USA U16 National Team. Brown, who comes to YGE from the Venom Tears, was named as a Naismith All-American Underclassman Honorable Mention 🇺🇸

With a stacked cast of returning players taking a lot of the spotlight, YGE’s new players are nothing to sneeze at either. Madi Mignery (33rd, 2027) is a talented 6-1 forward who is coming off of a year in which she led her high school to a state championship in Florida. Frankie McLain, who proved herself at the OT Select Dream Tryout as one of the very best three-point snipers in the league, is also a TikTok star with over 700k followers. The last player added to the squad was Dahni Suggs, who is cousins with blossoming Orlando Magic star Jalen Suggs and the daughter of former Baltimore Ravens star Terrell Suggs 👌

Kimberly Powell returns as the Head Coach of YGE after coaching them to the semi-finals last year. Powell has coached 12 WNBA players in her career including Tiffany Hayes and Erica Wheeler as well as over 200+ D1 players 🏀

YGE will open up the OT Select season on Saturday, August 2 playing against Royal Reign at 5 PM on YouTube. Tickets for the game and all other Overtime Select events are available on the OT Select website 🎟️
