The 2026 OT Select MVP is…

This week Overtime Select will be rolling out the awards for the 2026 OT Select season. We finish today with the last award of the year, the prestigious MVP award which goes to the player who was most valuable and impactful to her team’s success. After three legendary years in the league and her most successful season to date it is YGE captain GG Banks who is taking home the third ever OT Select MVP award. Banks joins OT Select legends Kate Harpring and Saniyah Hall as the only other people to have taken home this honor 🤩

GG Banks had a season for the ages, leading YGE to their first ever championship game while taking on the biggest offensive load of anyone in OT Select history. Banks scored or assisted on 58.86% of YGE’s points this season which is the single biggest mark in OT Select history. In other words, no team has ever been more reliant on one player to generate her team’s offense than YGE was on GG Banks this season 🤯

Banks led all players in scoring at 23.8 PPG and also finished second in the league in assists at 9.0 APG. However, what separated Banks from the pack was her play on the other end of the court as evidenced by her third place finish in the DPOY race. Banks led all players in steals this season at 3.8 SPG and her 15 steals over the course of the season is the most ever by a player in OT Select history 🔒

Banks is one of the most accomplished players in OT Select history, ending her career second in points, second in assists, third in rebounds and at the very top of the list in steals. After three years in the league, all as captain of YGE, Banks will be remembered as one of, if not the very best player in OT Select history and now has added the highest honor OT Select has to offer to cap off her illustrious career 🥹

Finishing as the runner-up for MVP this season was Finals MVP and OT Select champion Jordyn Palmer who carried the Cold Hearts to their first ever title while finishing top five in the league in both points and rebounds. Rounding out the podium for MVP was ISO WRLD captain Kaleena Smith who finished her exquisite career as the league’s top all-time scorer and assister 🔥
