YGE

๐Ÿ“ Captain: GG Banks

๐Ÿ“ Best Ever Finish: Semi-finals (2024)

๐Ÿ“ OT Select Returners: Amaya Manuel, Loriel Murray

๐Ÿ“ Top 10 Players: GG Banks (2027, 4th), Khloe Ison (2029, 10th)

๐Ÿ“ Head Coach: Tamika Dudley

After a disappointing elimination in the Bubble Breaker last season, GG Banks and YGE are back for vengeance this year. GG Banks, alongside Kaleena Smith, is the longest tenured captain, entering her third season at the helm of YGE and while she has put together one of the most accomplished resumes in OT Select history, she is still missing one major piece: an OT Select Championship. Banks is top four in scoring all-time, trailing only Kaleena Smith, Kate Harpring and Saniyah Hall, and is second in total assists. What Banks has this year that she didnโ€™t in years past is a LOADED squad around her ๐Ÿ˜ณ

YGE is the only team in the league with all nine players on the roster ranked in the top 100 of their respective classes. Khloe Ison is the headliner of the team, as a top ten ranked player in the class of 2029. Ison is a 5-4 bucket getting guard that will complement Banks nicely as the two predominant scoring threats on the team. In addition to Ison, YGE also brought in three players ranked back-to-back-to-back in the class of 2028. Jaylah King, Jordyn Haywood and Janaya Cooper are ranked 12th through 14th in the class of 2028, respectively ๐Ÿ’ช

In addition to YGEโ€™s new shiny pieces they also welcome back two OT Select vets who are set to play big roles on the team. Amaya Manuel was one of the winnerโ€™s of the 2025 OT Select Dream Tryout and since then she has catapulted up the rankings. Manuel is now ranked 35th in the class of 2027 and is set to play a big role on YGEโ€™s run to the title. Loriel Murray is a local Atlanta legend who joins YGE this year after playing for the Cold Hearts in 2025 ๐Ÿ˜ด

Flau State

๐Ÿ“ Captain: Tati Griffin

๐Ÿ“ Best Ever Finish: N/A

๐Ÿ“ OT Select Returners: Leah Dewitt

๐Ÿ“ Top 10 Players: Tati Griffin (2028, 1st)

๐Ÿ“ Head Coach: Tamecka Dixon

Flau State is Overtime Selectโ€™s newest team but just because they are the new kids on the block doesnโ€™t mean that they arenโ€™t just as ready as every other team to make a run at the title. Flau State was founded by womenโ€™s basketball icon Flauโ€™jae Johnson who has formed the team in her mold to be the most electric team on and off the court in the league. Leading the way for Flau State is captain Tati Griffin who is poised to make her OT Select debut on Friday after missing her entire first season with an injury. Griffin, who is ranked number one in the class of 2028, hopes to make her case as the best player in the league with her domineering style of play in the paint 1๏ธโƒฃ

On top of Griffin, Flau State brings in a few standout new additions to the team. Chasity Rice has been playing alongside Griffin all summer, as they have dominated on the AAU circuit together. Rice is poised to be one of the breakout stars of the league this season. Also joining the squad is Ogechi Okeke, the 15th ranked player in the class of 2027, and with a height of 6-3 she figures to be one of the most imposing forces in the league this season ๐Ÿค‘

Outside of Griffin, Flau State returns just one player from past OT Select seasonโ€™s and that is Leah Dewitt. Dewitt is a Georgia native who brings some much needed championship pedigree to Flau State after she won the OT Select championship with the All Knighters last season. Dewitt is a sniper from deep and her wealth of experience will be huge for Flau Stateโ€™s championship hopes this season ๐Ÿ†

Royal Reign

๐Ÿ“ Captain: Jessie Moses

๐Ÿ“ Best Ever Finish: Semi-finals (2025)

๐Ÿ“ OT Select Returners: Khalia Hartwell, Kamora Moore, Miciah Fusilier, London Thomas

๐Ÿ“ Top 10 Players: Jordan Brown (2029, 8th)

๐Ÿ“ Head Coach: Kim Powell

Royal Reign returns this season riding the high of their surprise run to the OT Select semi-finals last season. This year Royal Reign has a good blend of new talent and old experience as they look to build on last season's success. At the helm of Royal Reign this year is returner Jessie Moses. After having an incredible first year at OT Select where she won the Trey Ball Challenge, Moses was sidelined for her second season with an injury. Now back to full health, Moses is in command of her own team and has plans of transforming Royal Reign into a perineal powerhouse ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Jordan Brown headlines the new talent for Royal Reign, as the lone player on the team ranked in the top ten in her respective class. Brown enters as one of the best ball handlers in the league and with a bevy of three point shooters around her should be well set up to be one of the leading playmakers in the league. Another new face set to make some noise is 2026 OT Select Dream Tryout winner Nyair McCoy who is yet another shifty, small guard who has a penchant for getting to the basket ๐Ÿช™

Royal Reign is tied for the most OT Select vets of any team in the league with five. The team returns one player from last yearโ€™s squad, as Khalia Hartwell is back and ready to help propel the team to new heights. Joining the team this year is Kamora โ€œMoMo Bucketsโ€ Moore who was one of the breakout stars in 2025. Moore averaged 16.3 PPG for YGE last season while leading the league in 3PT% with an unfathomable mark of 58.3%. Moore followed that up by taking home the 2026 Trey Ball title, reaffirming that there is no better shooter in the league than her. Also returning is Miciah Fusilier who is entering her third season in the league and London Thomas who joins the team after playing last year for the Venom Tears ๐Ÿ‘‘

Cold Hearts

๐Ÿ“ Captain: Jordyn Palmer

๐Ÿ“ Best Ever Finish: Semi-finals (2025)

๐Ÿ“ OT Select Returners: Morghan Reckley, Jemini Mitchell, Jordan Speller

๐Ÿ“ Top 10 Players: Kristen Winston (2029, 1st), Nyajuacni Riak (2028, 4th), Morghan Reckley (2028, 5th), Jordyn Palmer (2027, 6th)

๐Ÿ“ Head Coach: Sade Wiley-Gatewood

The Cold Hearts are absolutely loaded with talent and after making a run to the semis last year, they enter this season as one of the favorites to win it all. The Cold Hearts are the only team with four players ranked in the top ten of their respective classes and they are led by captain Jordyn Palmer. Palmer has already experienced so much success in her career, taking home MVP honors at the FIBA AmeriCup after helping lead Team USA to gold. Now Palmer looks to fill out her resume with her first ever OT Select Championship ๐Ÿ˜ค

The Cold Hearts have an impressive new cast of talent that they are hoping pushes them to the title. Kristen Winston is the latest in a long line of number one ranked players to join Overtime Select and if her predecessors are any indication she is well set up for an immense successful run. Winston is a ball dominant guard who can get her shot off at will and is primed to be one of the top scorers in the league. On top of Winston, the Cold Hearts also added top talent Nyajuacni Riak, who is coming off of a summer where she helped lead Team USA to gold at the FIBA U17 World Cup ๐Ÿฐ

On top of all of the new talent that the Cold Hearts are bringing in they are also returning players who donโ€™t just have experience but also chemistry. RWE is not returning this season, however, three players, including captain Jordyn Palmer, played together on RWE last year. Jemini Mitchell is an elite bucket getter who has tons of baked in chemistry with Palmer. On top of that RWEโ€™s starting point guard Jordan Speller is also joining them on this squad after leading RWE in assists last season. To cap it all off, the Cold Hearts are also bringing in reigning All-OT Select member Morghan Reckley, who is one of just six players in the league this year who can say they have earned such an honor ๐Ÿ…
